Saint-Gervais is a charming 19th Century spa town located half-way between Megeve and Chamonix, and the resort makes an attractive base for exploring the many resorts of the wider Mont Blanc region. Saint-Gervais itself has two centres, Saint-Gervais village (850m) and the higher Le Bettex/Mont d'Arbois ski resort (1400m). The two areas are linked by gondola (10mins) or road (2km from village centre) and the resort offers impressive views over the Mont-Blanc mountain range.
CHILDREN The snow nursery located in Le Bettex welcomes children aged from 3 months to 9 years, and the ESF French Ski School offers tuition to children aged 4 years and over - the perfect introduction to the slopes!
OTHER ACTIVITIES The local "Skipass Mont-Blanc" ski domaine offers 700km of slopes served by 190 ski lifts, and more adventurous skiers can explore the wider "Evasion Mont-Blanc" ski area which offers 445km of slopes and covers Megeve, Saint-Gervais, Combloux and Les Contamines (access by road).
