Located in the heart of the Belleville valley, Les Menuires is an ideal base for intermediate skiing in the heart of the Three Valleys ski area, and is particularly suitable for families. The resort is divided into the small village-like centres of La Croisette, Reberty and Preyerand, all of which offer excellent slopes to suit skiers of all abilities.
CHILDREN Located in the La Croisette centre of Les Menuires, visitors can find a nurseru which offers childcare to children aged between 3 and 30 months, as well as the "Mini-Club Village des Piou-Piou" which caters for children aged 4 years and over and offers group ski lessons with the ESF French Ski School. In the Bruyeres area of Les Menuires, visitors with young children can make the most of the "Mini-Club", especially for children aged 31 months to 5 years, as well as the "Mini-Club du Village des Piou-Piou" which offers group ski lessons run by the ESF French Ski School for children aged 4 years and over.
OTHER ACTIVITIES As part of the expansive Three Valleys ski area, Les Menuires offers access to 600km of downhill slopes. The immediate Le Domaine Menuires/Saint-Martin-de-Belleville ski area boasts 160km of ski slopes as well as a snowpark. 6-day lift passes to both the local ski domaine and the wider Three Valleys ski domaine can either be bought in-resort or in advance via the tourist office website.
Cross country skiing : length of cross country track 28 Km For cross-country skiers and off-piste adventurers, Les Menuires offers 28km of cross-country slopes, located in the Belleville valley. Access to these cross-country trails is free of charge.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION Les Menuires is easily accessible by bus or by taxi from Moutiers train station (27km), and Lagrange are able to arrange rail travel and accommodation packages for any skiers who would prefer to let the train take the strain on their Alpine break this winter.
